In the town of Tab, situated in Somogy County, a 8+6-classsrom building was constructed as a brand-new facility, setting the aim of raising the standard of education. The building has a gym suitable for organizing international matches and capable of providing physical training facility for the town's young people.
The school was built on a steeply inclined site, conforming the contour of the terrain; in addition, it was located in a manner that it grants protection for the play-courtyard against northern winds, making the stay outdoors pleasant. The building was constructed with a traditional structure, with brick-walls, precast reinforced concrete ceiling slabs, with rafter roof covered with slate.
The gym part of the building has a span of 18 m, and is of individual design, using TT r.c. ceiling slabs with a load-bearing capacity enabling the location of classrooms in the attic.
The school was built in a town part with family houses therefore the bulk design of the building was divided so that it should be best suited to its environment.
